La Granja is a family firm which, since its foundation in 1959, has become a benchmark for quality and innovation in the pastry products sector. In the late 80’s, La Granja was a pioneer in creating products aimed at consumers with a variety of dietary needs. It then went on to create a range of products made from organically-farmed ingredients.

Because of our commitment to quality, La Granja insists on supplying only fresh products and this can only be done by baking them daily. We believe there is no sense in selecting the best ingredients if the finished product is not then distributed immediately, as this would affect its quality. Faced with the choice between higher quality or higher productivity, the priority at La Granja is always the interests of our consumers.

While continuing to make the traditional products with which we started out, the desire to improve and innovate has always been a feature of La Granja. Observing trends and responding to them led us to market the first wholemeal fairy cakes in the 80’s. This was followed by many other products catering for health, dietary and practical needs. Together with the latest range of organic products, these special products have helped La Granja to expand on the home market as well as moving into international markets.
